    Chef, Ive got a question.

Let's say Haye brings in 1 million ppvs in the UK (which he will) at £15 a pop that's £15 million in the kitty. HBO would get on board due to Haye, say another £5 million.

Let's say roughly Haye's bringing in £20 million, add asses on seats, and extras. For this fight he's bringing in £25 million, give or take say £5 million.

So that's between $30-40 million he's bringing to the table.

What does Wlad put in the 50-50 pot?

What about Haye's options on future Klitschko fights. Both brothers. And they need to pay him a 20% bonus on top of all collected proceeds from their own savings.

Fake argument. Haye will not bring that in with any other fight. They HBO money is dependent on BOTH of them. Haye is not the damned cash cow of boxing suddenly. You think Harrison/Haye does the same numbers as Wlad/Haye? SERIOUSLY?

Ok half the HBO figure then, make it 2.5 million each. The point still stands.

If you ignore the rest of what I said I suppose it does. Does Haye/Harrison do the same numbers as Wlad/Haye?

Oh, and even though I'm against Haye-Harrison I think a lot of people are going to get a shock when the numbers come out.

Erm risk reward? Haye will make a couple of million less, if that. Remember against Harrison Haye walks away with the biggest share of the pot, not 50%.

:deal No wonder this fight won't get made. Klit Bros are a bunch of cheap afraid pussies. Haye should never accept 50-50. he has more pride than that.

Haye ATG Top 3 Heavyweight :deal

This was probably a bad example anyhow given the nature of the island there. I probably should have said against any other 'non brit'. Believe me, the hype created will not be just because of Haye but WHO he is fighting and the importance of the fight. Even if they are tuning in to watch Haye is because of WHO he is facing.

But it really doesn't matter. Haye has shown that he is more talk than fight and the rest of the world now knows that even if the 'isles' don't care.

I remember reading somewhere that Haye's share in the 14.95 quid PPV was 5 quid per sale, Sky Sports keeps the rest. Using that as a guideline, if Wlad - Haye achieves 1 million buys in the UK then that's 5 million pounds or approx. $8 million Dollars that Haye brings to the pot.

Of course he does, but that works both ways.

If Haye-Harrison goes ahead it wouldn't surprise me if they sell out a 40-50,000 stadium, no freebies. Add to that it'll do more than Valuev or Ruiz PPV wise, sponsers in the UK will be throwing money at the fight becase they know it'll do good numbers, the UK public are less than sensible with regards to boxing. The fight will gross big bucks and give Haye his biggest pay day by far.

So basing on risk reward Haye can make a little less at FAR greater risk.

I'm not for this fight, never have been but it makes sense financially for Haye. The other point I'd like to make is after Harrison there isn't another huge cash fight for Haye out there.
