There wasn't PPV in England up until around 1990, I'm surprised the Krauts are so far behind us in this.

Again, if WALDO wants this fight so badly, why let the UK TV money ruin the deal, because that's what it seems has been the problem. Maybe money means more than honour to the glass jawed champ, right?

 

Boxing doesn't work like that. You don't get extra money in a fight like this solely because you're the champion. Mosley was the champ when he fought Mayweather and received 30% of the pot. If Wlad feels that the deal isn't fair, then he should reject. The truth though is, Haye can make a ton of money fighting much lesser fighters. The longer this fight takes to make, the older and possibly more vulnerable Wlad becomes. Boxing isn't about belts, or championship defenses anymore. It's all about money. Whoever brings in the most money calls the shots.

Germany is one of the boxing capitals in the world, meanwhile.. where there are PPV, boxing slightly struggles.
