Right. But the WBC Emeritus title that helped Vitaly is OK, right? Even though they made it up for him? Then the diamond belts, silver belts etc. They're all OK too? All of them are ****. The IBF marginally the best - but you are aware the guy Wlad won it from only had it because it was stripped from Lewis right? Or doesn't that matter now? You trying to tell me the WBC wasn't a farce around the Vitaly\Peter\Maskaev\Rahman time? And while ALL that was going on, still having McCall and someone (Sam? Gomez?) fighting to become ANOTHER mandatory? None of them have any credibility at all to be honest.
I agree that it is a fair offer but what Haye offered to Wlad is also fair and he should have accepted. Theres both bitches for letting money get in the way of the biggest fight either of them could have.
I guess we can write off any hopes for a fight between either Klitschko and Haye for the immediate future. Won't happen. The rift is too big and I doubt either brother will box him for less than 50% of the total pot. I guess they did everything they could. Not sure if Haye will change his tune but then again, I wouldn't be surprised if Wlad lost interest in Haye and Vitali retired after his next fight. Could have been a good fight but I guess it wasn't meant to be.
If Vitali cannot nail down Valuev theres no big fight out there for him........other than Haye. Also get the feeling Vitali is the fight Hayes team want. I have been told that its not money thats stopping the deal from Hayes side. Theres several issues that K2 refuse to negotiate on.
Yes, Haye wants Wlad to lose his face by getting less and Wlad will not let this happen, so it's almost over. The happiest day for the Haye huggers is when Haye retires without fighting any Klitschko.
Seeing as I think Wlad generates more money from more sources, I don't think Haye's offer was fair. Wlad brings in huge money, his german TV deal is only a part of that. Haye wants 50% of all of this. For example, let's say Haye brings in 6 million from UK PPV. Let's say Wlad brings in 3 million from German TV. Let's say everything else is worth another 20 million - of that, most of it is because of Wlad, probably 15 million worth. So Wlad is generating 18 million, Haye 11. But Haye wants 50/50 of this "everything else". Meaning he would end up with 16 million to Wlad's 13 million. Haye would get more, despite generating less. That's just stupid, Wlad makes more fighting just about anybody - and he makes that because he generates it. Haye's proposition is flawed. Wlad's proposition is only flawed in that it is too generous.
How do you work out that Wlad brings 75% of everything else? Hayes fights in the UK make as much Money as Wlads fights in Germany.
So someone from Hayemaker Promotions told you that money is not what's stopping the deal from Haye's side? So Wladimir accepted the deal Haye wanted where Haye gets to keep all the UK ppv money but now there are other issues that Haye is not happy with? Is that what you are saying?
Me. Wlad is The Champion. Haye proved nothing at Heavyweight. He won on points against Valuev. Chagaev made a much better fight and Wlad beats Chagaev. So who the **** is David Haye? :yep:yep
That makes no sense... So, the original claim was that Wlad offered 50-50. If that included 50-50 of ALL TV revenue, why would Haye have rejected this if Wlad made more money than Haye. That would have been to Haye's benefit. Instead, Haye countered that he wanted to keep all UK PPV money. By your reckoning, he was negotiating to earn less. Which would have been idiotic. It can't be both. It looks like Wlad's 50-50 offer was for everything, which obviously means HE'D make more than a 60-40 deal on the purse with Haye keeping the UK PPV money.
