To Haye everything is an obstacle when he doesn't want to to fight. Maybe he will change his tune at some point but it appears for the past 2 years some kind of evil conspiracy (in his mind) is keeping him from getting in the ring with the Klits. Time to move on.

thats why haye keeping UK cash makes it unbalanced. Haye says he wants Wlad....wlad says he wants Haye.... put it all in a pot and split it 50-50

but its true to say that in the UK ppv market, the people buying the fight will be buying it for haye and not wlad. i think im not mistaken in saying that haye took about 5 million himself for the ruiz fight, you cant really blame him for wanting that

still being said, its a fight along with pac v may that needs to happen for the good of the sport

That point is moot. The Klitschko camp was granted an exception to find a deal with Haye in order to not immediately fight Povetkin and unify the titles against Haye instead.

I believe they were granted something like 30-45 days to find a deal. Haye/Booth didn't respond. What should Wlad have done? He had to go for the purse bid with Povetkin or risk being stripped by the IBF.

IMO - from all the publicly available information - the Klitschko camp did all one could possibly think of to at least get the other side INTERESTED in the fight:

    1. He publicly challenged Haye
    2. He gets an exception from the IBF in order to start negotiations with Haye.
    3. He said he's willing to come to London if necessary to fight

What was the reaction from Haye? "Oh we're just relaxing right now, just chillin' after the Ruiz fight." and then "Oh we're talking to six potential opponents right now, you know Harrison, Toney, Rahman and of course the Klitschkos".. and then suddenly the IBF deadline is over and Wlad is forced to fight Povetkin.

What more could Wlad have done, please tell me?

This was an 'all money in the pot' 50/50. Haye just came up with demand after demand and finally Boothe stopped communicating all together. It is what it is.

No more stupid than the Brits running around claiming Wlad ducked because Haye is worth more.

In the end all you need to know is that Haye was offered more then he's worth and he didn't take it.

where have you been? The IBF gave Wlad and Haye some time to try and get a fight put together with a dead line... when that Date came and went the IBF forced Wlad to start the talks with Povetkin but still allowed talks with Haye to continue for the next fight.

You make it sound like Wlad was wheeling and dealing...wrong. Povetkin is the Mand... wlad had no choice but to start talks when the IBF demanded it
