Haye is all about the $$$$ yet the latest offer for a fight seems to have fallen over because WALDO wanted half the UK TV money?

    I smell double standards here.

Haye is not my boy. I'm being objective here. Clearly Wlad thinks Haye is pulling in more money which is why he wants 50% of the British t.v revenue. That doesn't even makes sense. You think Pacquiao or Mayweather got 50% of the British t.v revenue when they fought Hatton? They didn't

If they are even draws, then what's the problem with each guy keeping all of their domestic t.v money? Obviously Wlad is not just as big of a draw as Haye in the U.K. As far as the Harrison fight, that fight is probably going to happen precisely because it will do big business in the U.K. Smaller countries love those domestic showdowns. Adamek vs. Golota was huge in Poland. And Wlad isn't going to get any fight picked up on U.S tv unless he fights Haye.

RTL is FTA cable, and the main provider for boxing in Europe/FTA cable (germany)
They buy the rights for fights, so tell me again.. what does it matter to you if RTL has ppv or not?!?!

Besides, Wladimir and Vitali are reluctant to fighting on PPV, they actually want people to see their fights.
But that's besides the point, what does the non-ppv market in Germany matter to you?

So if Booth didn't answer, why the excuses about the UK TV revenue then?

It's not making sense to me I'm afraid.

I'm not an idiot. I don't give a damn what Booth says, his job is to get Haye the most money he can. I'm sure Haye wants to be the best, but I can guarentee you that compensation is his biggest concern. The same is true for Wlad.

I'm not sure about the 9th defense thing, but I suggest you take a look at the money offered to Leonard to fight Hagler, or Ali to fight Holmes.

Or a more recent example springs to mind actually, take a look at what Hamed earnt to fight Barrera, and then consider yourself owned.

Adam: "Uhm so we're finalizing the contracts.. only.. there's one more thing...

Wlad has to fight with his right hand tied behind his back, run a full marathon the day before the fight and weigh in at 220lbs. Deal?"

Ah so the German fans are smart and lucky.....

And not prepared to part with their cash to watch WALDO fight?

If WALDO wanted the fight so badly, then why demand half the UK PPV money? You keep telling us that he's prepared to fight Haye any time, any place any where, yet he's found a reason to back out and you blame Haye for it for quite rightly saying he wants the UK revenue because it's his own fans that would be laying out that cash?

Sorry but it's double standards, you claim WALDO will do anything to make the fight yet it's obvious that he won't. You claim Haye is only in it for the money yet it's obvious that it's WALDO's demands that have stopped it from happening, you can't possibly excuse that.

Of course it is....Haye would be made for life from the UK PPV revenue for that fight, whereas it's obvious that WALDO can't sell himself in Germany. Why the **** should Haye capitulate on that purely because the Germans won't pay out to see their champion fight?

What did Finkle say? Did he demand a percentage or not?

If he did, then your argument is shattered.
