A challenger always gives concessions, and rarely receives a 50-50 split like Haye is likely to get.

Never mind this alphabet bollocks, Wlad is champion.

Just like Leonard was when he fought Hearns, Holyfield vs Lewis and Bowe etc etc.

Champion Vs Champion, 50/50 is acceptable

Why would Wlad make concessions? He doesn’t have the retirement clock ticking and doesn’t need Haye. Do you think Wlad would be upset if Haye fought Chagaev or Povetkin? He’d probably just laugh his ass off.

God this **** about concessions bla bla bla is getting boring...

But the stuff above I agree with. Wlad and Haye are totally different fighters and have totally different strengths and weaknesses. It's bull**** that all the weaknesses Wlad has Haye also has but worse...

Beestons post was spot on actually.

And Wlad hits harder than Haye as well.

    How was it?

Wlad is taller and has the reach advantage, probably hits harder, etc.

I would agree I don't think Wlad has a stamina problem.

But Haye is quicker and more agile by some distance, has better foot speed, hits plenty hard enough to knock Wlad out.

Wlad has a better chin than Haye? Really? Sure Haye's isn't the best but the loss to thompson was a stamina issue, not a chin issue and since then he hasn't lost a fight...Not to mention Haye's powers of recovery are better than Wlad's.

Another key advantage for Haye is mentally he is a lot stronger than Wladimir, he's a more natural fighter.

It's an interesting match up and mesh of styles and we'll see what happens.

I fancy Haye by TKO though, and I expect the beginning of the fight to be cagey with neither man willing to engage.

does he have to make concesions, well,no ,but should he,yes, for a unification fight both sides should give up something, both have titles to gain, and make most money by fighting one another.

IF wlad really wanted the fight really badly, surely he would have given up something to make the fight happen???.Hes just asked and allowed haye to give and give where he himself makes a fight with chisora, and a fight with adamek!.

when the f?*ck is this bad boy announced anyway!.

Didnt Lewis only make $10m compared to Holyfields $20m?

Hearns took short money to get the fight with Leonard...... even though there was massive demand for the fight both could have fought lesser opponents for huge money.

Plus Hagler was begging for either to step up to the plate even in 1981.

Lewis took 1/3 of the money because he only had 1/3 of the title, and probably because he wanted to be ''King free'' for the rest of his career.

Hearns and Lewis could not generate the same, or more money than there opponent. Haye can with the Klitsckos. thats the difference.

Haye has been able to in the past. But how long will the British public keep buying into his bull****?

Hayes powers of recovery are better than Wlads?

When has he taken the shots Wlad took in his earlier days? How many times would he have got up from Corrie Sanders early assault? How many big punchers have landed on Haye at Heavy?

Barrett is a decent puncher but not World class. Ruiz has never been a puncher. Audley isn't a puncher.

Wlad has a much more proven chin/toughness, and more importantly, despite Hayes RJJ-esque stance and footspeed, Wlads style makes him far less hittable than Haye.

Sorry Ryan, but I'm going to have to disagree with pretty much everything you've said pal :good
