Hayes recent performances, safety first against Valuev (B levelfighters) needing shot loads of knockdowns against Ruiz (sloppy finishing, durable opponent but not a great win) and the farce that was Audley. You can't pick him to win based on that
They've both faced B level fighters recently, that's pretty much all that there is in the current heavyweight division apart from Wlad, Vitali and Haye. I have picked Haye to win but it was only patriotism that tilted the scales of what I think is a 50/50 fight.
Yeah, and Wlad has barely lost a round and sparked Eddie Chanbers. If Haye had blown all of his opposition away I'd be more inclined to believe he was up to the job. Five kds against Monte Barrett? Hayes power is overrated.
Dan Rafael gives Haye some credit. The useless fat knacker. http://espn.go.com/sports/boxing/blog/_/name/rafael_dan/id/6193201/the-ducker-no-more-haye-signs
What a stupid fat ****, no mention of Wlad 'ducking' out of 2 fights... and their ridiculous contracts... :-(
I think Wlad will win by knocking haye out I kind of want haye to win, just to shut up the likes of Dan Raphael and The Ring magazine
he's ridiculously anti-haye Calling haye "the ducker" and making wlad out to be innocent in all of this and The Ring have said stuff like Haye wouldnt dare fight Areolla, it's just stupid **** like that.
Rafael is a complete '****. Mainly because of his writing style than his opinions. He comes across as a General Forum poster most of the time.
My heart says Haye, especially against Wlad. I just hope he goes and takes the fight to Wlad and doesnt do what he did against Valuev. Hes got to take risks to win it. Id love him to batter these two though, acting like boxing is a team sport the way they do. Pisses me off.
I think Haye could win between 2-5 rounds. The first round both men will be cautious, and I expect they'll be figuring one another out. The second round I think Haye will open a bit, trying to land some power shots. I'm worried Haye gets careless and walks on to something big. I don't see Wlad losing this fight beyond the 6'th round, as Haye enters Klitschko territory, and will end up getting beating up badly if this is the case. Haye has to get Wlad out of there inside 6 rounds, or, he's toast. Wlad won't be easy to KO, he has a tight defense, will clinch, and try to spoil Haye. I think Haye gets frustrated the longer the fighter pursues, with Wlad starting to land the jab in the later rounds, spells big problems for Haye. This fight is about who executes their plan to a T.
