Wouldnt put it past Haye at this point to save face after that dismal performance, to have broken his hand on purpose in the locker room post fight so he could have an excuse.

See all my posts tonight. Haye was magnificent. I think he could have ko-ed Valuev. Hell, maybe he did break his hand.

but with or without a hand break, he was going to fight like that. He boxed, boxed, boxed. And did it brilliantly. He wasn't going to do anything else.

Paper champ ***** that ran away from the real champs, only to get it in the ring with some ossified cro-magnon and run even more. Surely something to be proud of.

If he broke his hand the best thing he could do was to at least jab and hook off his jab, he did not do that.

Lets face it, the hand injury is a lie and he fought a technically good fight. He did not bring the ruckus, but he stole the title on German soil.

Now, we all know he'd get ****ing slaughtered by Wladimir Klitschko.

No matter what Haye does, he'll never have the respect of most people. The guy could knock both Klitschko's out and people would have excuses ready to dismiss Haye's victory. People don't like his mouth and his attitude and therefore will never give him credit for anything.

I scored the fight 115-113 for Valuev tonight though several rounds could have gone either way so I don't think the decision was a bad one. I do think however that he would have knocked Valuev out had his hand not been hurt. He fought an ugly but smart and disciplined fight.

I'm sure they'll be plenty of people claiming he'll lose to Ruiz, Arreola, and most other overrated or over the hill heavyweights. I don't think Haye loses to anyone but the brothers and I think those fights would be close.

C'mon even the biggest ****ing Haye jockriders around aren't calling his performance anything close to brilliant. Who are you trying to fool with this embarrasing spiel?

What Haye showed that when the going get tough, he will have his track shoes. Haye fought more scared then a 46 years old Holyfield did vs Valuev and that only is a disgrace.

No that no respect argument goes to the Klits those guys are so hated that they even put Tarver haters to shame. Haye have a lot of fans if you look closely look at ESB is in a flood of Haye huggers they even crash the site.

Shut it u tart - what this should have showed u was that haye has blinding sped, ring smart, and disgusting power. the bitchkos are ****ed. What did u want him to do? Stand there toe to toe with someone who has a SEVEN ****ING STONE advantage - go back to watching cartoons mate - in the real world u have to work with what u have and hayes advantage was speed and moving away. Kind of like muhammad ali - u ever heard of him before? He used to 'run' and he's the greatest. now... FACK OFF! :hi:

Whether Haye won the fight or not (it was very close and there wasn't 4 rounds in it that's for sure) he badly hurt Valuev in round 12. So don't be silly.

If Haye had a broken right hand, he wouldn't have been throwing bombs periodically throughout the fight as he was. I'm not sold on the hand injury, really.
