i think if david can keep his chin tucked away, he would do peter easily, very impressed with Hayes speed last night.

I'm still a Peter fan, albeit a fading one because of the ****ing illegal punches all the time, however, I just don't think he can beat Haye.

You can use the argument that Haye would get KOed, and I agree with it. Peter is a ferocious puncher who could, in theory, knock out almost anyone in boxing history. He ranks with the likes of Foreman and Shavers in terms of raw power.

However, he is only a knock out artist in theory. You just can't assume he would knock Haye out because he hasn't had the speed or accuracy to KO guys who are stood right in front of him like McCline. Haye wouldn't be there for Peter to land his huge bombs.

And Haye could stop Peter. The reason McCline hurt Peter so bad, was that they were unexpected shots. With Wlad, Peter knew they were coming and could anticipate them. With McCline, they were punches he wasn't expected. I am a huge Wlad fan, bu the reaosn he didn't KO Peter with the masive right hands is because Peter knew what was coming. It's why the weaker left hook hurt him more than anything else - He didn't anticipate it.

This is what haye has to offer offensively against peter. his offence is versatile yet also devastating. He has the right hand, the left hook, the body shots. Peter would be feeling punches before he saw them.

I just don't think Peter would win. Far too slow and unskilled. Yeah, he could land that oe punch, but people have made that argument for years and it's rarely paid off.

    Haye TKO 8.
