He beat the only man at the time that mattered. Cunningham could have made that fight sooner if he wanted, yet only started becoming vocal after the Enzo fight. Title of the thread is misleading and lame, just come out and say you think he's a bum etc and he ducked Cunningham etc etc, it's heading that way and there's no such thing as being original where boring rhetoric is concerned.
The title was not lost in the ring, so some consider Bell and then therefore Mormeck and Haye to be the undisputed champion. Others consider that, as Bell was stripped for not fighting Cunningham, it's all fair enough. Anyone capable of cogent thinking would recognise that it's all semantics and doesn't make a blind bit of difference either way. What makes you a troll is that you create a thread pretending to be looking for information, when all you really want to do is push some lame talking points about Steve Cunningham that have already been hashed and rehashed in plenty of previous threads and at least one current one.
Haye was as good as undisuputed champion. Bell lost the IBF over a dispute with them, Mormeck then beat belt and won the remaining belts bar that one, which Haye then took off him and added the WBO to the equation.
Just because you don't recognise some of the fighters he has fought you'll prob assume his just beaten a bunch of bums. He has beaten alot of good fighters; you don't become a champion in 21 fights for no reason. Go do your research instead of just posting on here i say. Elite?? how many elite fighters are there in the whole of boxing, its too vague. How about how many dangerous, powerful, talented boxers has he beated. And the answer is alot.
