Robs firmly back on Team Haye. I think all the hate over the summer was just an excuse by Rob to win the "Hater of the Year" at David Hayes expense!!!

    We've been conned lads, I demand a re-vote!!!:|

i just wanna see the fight get made. at that point Hayes team were stopping it.

I would like to think i had a part to do with the fight being made...however small that is.

Yes. Yesterday he was lying, today he is telling the truth.

David Haye himself wants the fight, has always wanted the fight and would have taken a far worse deal than he is getting at the moment to make the fight with either brother.

A combination of Booth/Goldenboy/Sauerland/Sky pushed him into the Harrison fight which he really did not want to take. Had the Harrison fight not been such a disaster his team would have also taken an interim fight with Chagaev to get rid of the Sauerland options before taking on a Klitscko.

Due to the Harrison fight getting such a bad reaction from the press and public, the team realised they had to fight a Klitscko.

In both the case of this fight, and the Groves vs DeGale fight both of Adam Booths men have eneded up getting a better deal than they have ever previously been offered and you cannot complain about it. I complained about them rejecting good offers at the time, and stand by that.

Rob, I don't think the Harrison fight got a bad press really, except in the boxing press. And it made a shedload of cash. On that basis Haye could have kept on ticking over. But the money on offer here is incredible plus Wlad and Vitali are prepared to negotiate - it's just good timing for everyone right now.

It go about as bad press as a sporting event can get in my opinion thats not football.

can you think of a boxing match that was talking about so negatively afterwards?

it did make allot of money but it also did allot of damage.

What's this comment based on? I don't know a single person who still talks about it. In fact, most of the casuals I spoke to thought it was pretty entertaining.
