Hardly anyone there at the moment! Hopefully there will be more of an atmosphere for Appleby-Lindsay (well I'm thinking it's gonna' go wild for that one!!!) but at least Booth and Groves were realistic about the fight, and I think he will do well, in a year or so the likes of Barker and Bendall might be realistic fights.

He should fight a guy I train with, Steve Ede, he's the current British Masters MW champ and was robbed on Prizefighter. He'd give George a very competitive fight, and he's experienced and in probably the best shape for a Domestic MW you'll find at the moment.

 

For some reason setanta is working on my T.V ???

Sutherland vs. Groves in one or two years will be a beauty.

I might be jumping ahead here, but Jacobs vs Groves might be huge a few years down the line.

Groves has serious potential, not based on this fight but from what I have seen, amateur and pro.

 

I hate to hark back to energies, but there is something really gay about Booth.

Anybody think so??

 

Maguire next, another serious prospect, moreso than Josh Wale IMO, he's sloppy at times, I've been following Maguire since his amateur days.

I just flicked on to it for some reason and it's on.... Unless it's just a teaser and they switch it off for the main event !!

 

Buncey said it right, everybody has some of these guys on their record and groves does put his punches together well.

Still utter **** for the viewer unless you're Mrs Groves.

 

i wouldn't say really gay.

i don't think his voice or accent is camp, but there is something slightly effeminate about his posture.

Got the fight card live in Australia on Setanta as well.
Nice to see George Groves...1st time i have seen him.
Will follow his progress closely in the yrs to come now...seems like a nice fellow too.

 

Maguire doesn't look focused at all.

It being at FW either means he hasn't trained properly or he's grown. We'll have to see.
