Jamie Coyle gave the performance of his lifetime, but Rhodes could've made it easier for himself. I think he was okay in the Vuma fight. Let the middle rounds go away from him, but I think Rhodes boxes better when there's a better opponent in front of him. He also has top-level experience up at MW and suits 154 better. He has a shout. It's a good division but with Williams moving up and being an inconceivable fight, Forrest ageing (and moving up apparently) Mora averga (and about to get killed by Pavlik at 160) Kirkland arrested and probably having his career ended and Sergei Whathisname over in Europe, it leaves only Cory Spinks as a 'name' champion. Sergei whathisname has the potential, but who else is there? I'm sure I've missed someone out????
Totally unrelated but I CANNOT wait for Matthew Hall to smash Anthony Smalls head in. I think Moore and Hall would be too much for Rhodes at this point.
THANKS!!! Santos would batter Rhodes, and Martinez would probably run rings around him. Very underrated is Martinez. Don't rate Angulo at all to be honest, very slow, and I'm not sold on either his power or his chin.
Three things will determine the main event- Does Appleby has boxing skills on par/better than Derry Matthews? Does Appleby have a better chin than Derry Matthews? Will Appleby box or fight? My own prediction is Appleby W 12 but I think Lindsay could possibly floor him or at least cause him a lot of trouble. Good fight for both lads :good
