Bloody hell! That is a stacked card. Well done to Hayemaker, most promoters would have put the likes of Watson and Matthews in with soft touches and only made one or two fights that were genuinely competitive.
Yep - cracking looking card. I thought the Presser was very interesting..... Looking forward to seeing Quigley come through and then hopefully get a matchup with Dodson (although that will be a tough one to call as I rate them both and would hate to see either one loose!)
:shock: That's a ridiculously good card for a domestic show. There's at least four or five competitive fights there. This is like the UK equivalent of those old early-90s cards Don King used to put on in the States.
We should get onto Buncey and Setanta make sure they show all these fights! I might even make a night of it and stay somewhere in liverpool for this one.
Yes I did. Very good to be honest. Small was his usual flamboyant self, shouting the odds and cracking jokes etc. Ryan cool as a cucumber in his replies. All the Liverpool lads were very professional and gave a good account for themselves - came across very well indeed.
i reckon setanta will show 4 of the fights. rhodes vs small, magee vs dodson, price debut and 1 other.
Haha! The presser certainly was a good laugh!! Have to say a thank you to Anthony Small for coming all the way up to Liverpool to entertain us, even tho he was a cheeky git... but hey, i can't really do anything about my height!! Femi has been offered the Mathews fight, initially it was a goer but i don't think it is gonna be on now as unfortunately the timing may not be right. Will keep you posted, and we already talking to get a good opponent lined up if Femi can't do the fight.
