I think that Haye and Klitschko will fight after the Povetkin fight next spring probably. Perhaps winter Jan, Feb

    Yup, very likely.

If Wlad can't get an unification for the WBA or the WBC he will go for Haye.

I thought Haye was after only one fight before challenging Wlad, but it seems he is considering 2 fights, according to what he said.

We all know he is after Rahman and should land that fight, specially now that he is with GBP, so who might be the second top 10 ranked HW?

Haye should aim for fat peter sam, he has the beating of him, have a few defences to make some retirement dosh and then go for Wlad. If he beats Wlad then he will be a major draw across the world (if GBP get the promotion right) and will liven up the HW division and earn serious money.

Then in 4 years time he can retire and start posting on this forum again as we pick on Chris Eubanks son.

well from the article it looks like haye has already outlined his plans for hw domination, although an amazing performance in his first fight against a top ten opponent might bring forward a world title fight.

or put it back if he gets sparked.

i liked hayes analogy in the setanta interview. something along the lines of fighting and breaking down the heavyweights will be like cutting down a big oak tree, whereas he didn't have to do that with macca - he cut him down with one swipe

I guess Macca was a mere spider plant.

Trees don't hit back, but neither did the spider plant.

Why would they want Frankie Gavin ? Have you seen him box ?

He is no Amir Khan and with the Cubans going to Beijing it will be hard for him to repeat the performance at the worlds. Love him or loathe him Khan had excellent an excellent skill set and fantastic speed. Gavin is more like an honest pro rather than a flashy operator.
