I hate degale but its evident who's team would take the fight on the right terms and not on a heavywieght non event vs meehan or chageav. Ive also lost a massive ammount of respect for david, so wlad wants a tune up fight? and? He's contractualy obliged to fight david if david signs and if he pulls out david gets a nice fee anyway, whats the issue?

amazing how the tide of opinion has changed over the last year. go back 12 months and people on this forum couldnt get enough of the 'amazing progress' groves was making, and how he would slaughter the slappy degale who was a showboater with poor technique.

after about 1 fight of note people have reversed their opinions on both. just goes to show how there is a herd mentality going on.

 

Well, saying Groves has lacked quality is clearly wrong, but I don't see what's so wrong with people changing their opinion. Like with anything, you see more of it, you get a better idea. And anyone who has watched either's progress in the past year would put DeGale as decent favourite.
