Haye's back-up plan=WBA Regular Title

    As of October 2012, Haye is the #1 challenger in the WBA rankings.

    Povetkin must fight Klitschko soon or be stripped. So Povetkin-Klitschko will happen next Spring or Povetkin will be under pressure to vacate.

    So if Haye doesn't get the fight with Vitali, then he fights for the WBA regular title. Perhaps vrs. Ortiz or Chagaev.

    This would give Haye room to build up (defend his fake title a few times) for a Wlad rematch when he's ready.

    Haye should bring excitement back to the HW division, and fight Wach.

    Like him or loathe him, Haye is the guy that generates the big money in the division. The HW division needs him, but I think he only wants to hang around for the big money fights ie vs a Klitschko.

    All this 'get in line' does not apply to him, the sanctioning bodies will fasttrack him to any title shot because it means big money all around.

    Don't understand these stories

    Haye has been telling as many people as will listen that he has no interest in fighting unless its against a klit

    He's currently making money on a reality show in a jungle where he may be required to eat kangaroos testicles!! He'd rather do this type of thing than train and fight!!

    I would like to see Haye vs. Vitali. Vitali should fight David Haye and stand to his words.

    Pretty much.

    I mean, he told the world he was retired after the Wlad fight unless he can get a rematch or fight Vitali.

    So unless they fight him,or someone attacks him at a press conference, the guy is retired.

    Why cant people understand that?

    He has said many times that he will return only for a Klitschko fight. He is not interested in other belts . I remember The WBO one month ago would decide which fighter will become oc for Wlad. Haye, Fury or Boytsov. What happened with that case :think

    1) i think we've learned not to take anything he says literally. He doesn't want to fight Wlad this year so no WBO mandatory. The WBA paper title is ideal cause then he can fight Wlad when we wants.

    2) To get in that #1 WBA spot, there is probably some kind of financial donation involved. So idk why Hayemaker would waste the resources if the only fight they want is Vitali.
