The key is, can Haye land a solid shot? It will take more than one, so he's going to have to land several more good, solid shots on Wlad. I can't see it happening. Klitschko will do all he can to avoid being hit. He will wear Haye down in the process for a safe, but brutal knockout.
Haye isn't going to fight in there, he's going to run around the ring for 12 rounds and get paid at the end of the day, so zero percent.
It really depends, I thik haye will be gunshy, he has the speed to land a solid shot, and if he does things could get messy, Wlad likes to grab, but Haye throws rabbit punches when people grab him I favour Wlad but im not confident in that pick
30% i say Haye cant win by decision. Not because its in germany but because hes never fought a fighter like wlad
I chose 80%. Wlad hits extremely hard, including with his jab. Haye has a poor chin and isn't a natural heavyweight. The most stunning outcome in this fight for me, personally, would be Haye making it to the final bell. If Haye would win, it would be from jumping on Wlad early. If that doesn't work, it's nearly inevitable that he's getting KO'd/TKO'd in my opinion. * This content is protected I read the question wrong, was thinking of Wlad % chance KO'ing Haye. I'll say somewhere between 10-15% at best. This isn't pre-Sanders or pre-Brewster Wlad. He fights differently now and knows how to tie up.
It's not only that. Haye's workrate pales in comparison to Wlad's. Haye has moments in fights but he will rarely win against elite fighters on points. If Wlad doesn't foolishly reach in and get countered, it will be a rather easy win for him.
Haye is definitely the underdog. I was going to say about 40%, but I voted 30%. Somewhere between there seems about right.
Yeah, if im being honesh Haye is the hardest fight out there for Wlad but that doesnt mean its really going to be a terribly hard for him. Wlad by ko
Wlad is going to HOLD and LEAN on Haye after every jab and occasional left hook off of it. He will use his size to neutralize Haye and smother any chance at all he has of landing even a soft touch on his chin. :yep Wlad will turn his back (and move) when Haye does manage to find some room to throw. People must not realize how well Wlad protects that chin of his. Haye is made for him, as he's MUCH smaller. Wlad never fights a big PLUS physically quick and explosive heavyweight. That kind of fighter does not exist in today's HW division. I doubt Klitschkos would even want to fight Haye if they weren't sure he was easy work. He's a cruiserweight who talked the fight into what it is from a lucrative standpoint. It's not a close fight.
<10% obviously. To knock Wlad out, it's not enough to have a good punching power (which Haye does), you MUST have the ability to absorb and move past Wlad's jab without losing that power - the quality I don't see in Haye. His defense department is quite poor, he won't be able to trade with Wlad, leaving Haye with the only strategy - the one he used vs Valuev. Remember those 12 punches a round? Well, vs Wlad that statistics will be even more dismal. Basically, the outcome of the fight will depend solely on Wlad's willingness to engage, so in that respect I expect the bout to proceed along the plot of either the Ibragimov or Chambers fights.
