I don't see it with Haye. Haye is going to adjust his style at hw which he has already done. At Cw, he could trade with smaller and less skilled guys and come out ahead but I think after the barret fight, he realized he must adopt a very cautious style. He got into a fire fight with Barrett and it almost cost him so he just moved and occassionally pot-shotted against Valuev. I still think his stamina is a major question mark against someone with some skill at hw. I give Haye credit, he's smarter than I thought. He refused to engage Valuev and used movement and a limited output to give himself the best chance to win. That being said, if Haye was running for the hills against that feather fisted oaf Valuev, he will **** his pants against the Klits :yep Moreover, Haye is a legend in his own mind (shout-out to farmy)
Haye did not give proof of injury when he backed out of contract with Vlad, he was supposed to have done that, promised he would. Then Haye got diarrhea of the mouth when he said he was fighting Vitali, Vitali agreed to fight Him, all was going well for big money, but Haye backed out again! Now it so appears that Haye is putting-off a fight with Ruiz as long as he can. Will Haye only fight once per year, or even two years? Haye refused to fight against Valouev, just ran around the fight for a Maj. dec. which was absurd.
Haye has power if he lands flush one or a couple of times it might be goodnight for either of the Klitschkos, the reason I don't think he'll make it would be I don't think he can even take one jab from either of them without getting knocked out himself. He often swings widely wich honestly I believe would also be his best shot at victory here the chance of him getting caught himself though is just so much greater...
i think haye kos vitali if he fights him like he used to fight....i thought that before he bitched out....and i still think he can....he just has to find his balls
Words has a thoughtful analysis though and makes some good points. Wlad's combination of size, speed, power, dominant left hand and cautious style make him very difficult to touch, however, I think he underrates Vitali like many. Vitali is so awkward and has great anticipation of incoming punches. He rolls with punches and fires from some crazy angles. He is a difficult fight for any hw in history in my mind. I reckon they go like this: Wlad TKO6 Haye -- If you cannot pressure Wlad and force him out of his comfort zone, he will control the pace and dominate with the left. Haye will not come forward and will look for that perfect shot. In the meantime, Wlad will touch him up with the left. Once Haye slows and hangs in the pocket too long, wlad crushes him with the right and it could be over right there or shortly after. Haye has fast hands but delivers wider unlike wlad who comes straight down the pipe and he always keeps the right cocked and ready so it doesn't have to travel very far to the target. Vitali TKO10 Haye -- Haye moves well and can avoid the damage for awhile but he will engage at some point and get countered when he leads with his power shots. Vitali's stamina is excellent as he can move and throw 70 punches per round the whole fight. I think Haye will start making mistakes as Vitali pressures him effectively, something Valuev could nver do.
