There was a thread earlier today of Haye talking about the fight. He menitoned a couple of significant points (paraphrased); 1) Barrett's jab felt like a cruiserweight's right hand 2) "When I get buzzed, I plant my feet and go all out. My trainer doesn't like it, but that's what I do." referring to round #5. These comments reveal a guy who's chin is far from granite. If anything his chin is more doubtful than before he commented.
Haye's chin is shaky, and he knows it. Wait til he gets hit by a REAL hard-hitting HW. Good night. :nod
That to me shows a man who's willing to get KO'd in order to KO his opponent. This is just what thye heavyweight division needs. He might not go all the way, but its sure going to be fun while it lasts. I honestly don't understand the hate for the man, he's a breath of fresh air to the Marquee division of boxing. Just the sort of person who helps the sport back into the mainstream.
You're boring as **** with the way you pretend to be some guru by stating **** everyone already knows. "When Haye gets KOd remember I told you so" as if nobody has ever seen his chin for what it is, but you have spotted something that nobody else had due to incredible insight. Like you smug pontificating about the election where you said "I have studied and taught politics for 30 years and have forgotten more than you people will ever know, Obama has NO chance, wait till you see him lose by a LANDSLIDE and remember who told you." You started off saying that Haye would be KTFO by the first "real heavyweight" he fought. Nice, vague comment that means nothing because then you can just claim anyone he beats like Barrett is not a "real heavyweight". Now it has become the "first half decent puncher" who will KO him COLD. So who? You have said for months he could not hope to walk out alive against a top 20 Heavy, that line has been dropped for the totally ambiguous "half decent puncher". So list me the 15 Heavyweights he gets starched by and has no chance with. You tried to claim some kudos when Khan got KOd when EVERY single Brit poster had said his chin was glass since his career started. You based it on who he was fighting, we had all seen him shaken badly and dropped by a light hitting amateur called Craig Watson. And yet there you were crowing as if nobody had known how weak his chin was, when practically 80% of Khan related posts on the Brit forum were about how his chin was awful. You just predict a brutal KO loss for whoever you are fixated on again and again, but never specific to a fight, just "Anytime soon" or "the moment he steps up" and then as soon as it happens act like Nostradamus. And you were the guy who said Lacy was going to starch Taylor at the weekend.
I was trying to ignore this comment, but i have to ask him,What the **** are you on about you muppet?:nut
If he thinks Monte Barret has a hard jab, he's going to soil himself when he feels either Wlad's or Vitali's jab.
Quoted, and indeed copied for use in every such chin thread like this one. Easiest, laziest prediction to make. Boxers that go an entire career without a stoppage loss are so rare.
IF peter lands that left hook he landed on wlad at the end of round three - it's bye bye haye... if they meet, for me the fight is a toss-up, maybe 60/40 haye, because peter is so slow.
That's because MOST fighters have chins that are shaky to one degree or another.:yep:yep A fighter with a solid chin does NOT get knocked out, that is, KTFO.
why do you even bother coming on the site you obviously never watch fights and just make up whatever strange theories you want about what ever boxer you dislike. It does however tend to be british heavyweights you don't like, can you not take the fact that american heavyweights are ****. The last two half decent ones you had consisted of a steroids cheat and a ****ing moron, come back when you have watched some boxing from the past 10 years.
Buddy, I've been following boxing avidly for around 30 years, and I watch as many fights as I can. As far as British HWs are concerned, it's not my fault most of 'em have shaky chins. I just call 'em as I see 'em, and when they hit the canvas out cold, I have to conclude, that, gee, maybe they don't have the greatest whiskers. But there are plenty of American HWs with glass jaws - ever heard of Carl "The Truth" Williams or Tommy Morrison??
