So you do agree then that's it basically like shooting fish in a barrell? The easiest of predictions to make, up there with stuff like "I bet no-one runs 10 touchdowns in a single game this season"?
So there isn’t anything else than ATG chins and shaky chins? Every fighter that gets knocked out has a shaky chin? Thats stupid. Shouldn’t you first look what kind of punch/punches knocked the fighter out?
That's far too much gray to deal with. It's either black or white when it comes to Zakman and his chins. Getting floored by a clipping jab or driven to the canvas by a 15-punch combination, it's all the same - you're a glass jawed bum. Sorry, GLASS jawed BUM.
That's glass-jawed JOKE! No one who steps in the ring is a "bum." China-chinned fraud, maybe, but not a bum.
I continue to be amazed at how people here act like a Chin is not important. Sure you can work on Defense, Foot Work etc. but nothing will change the fact that when a Glass Jawed fighter gets hit they crumble to the ground. There is not a damn thing a trainer, manager, or promoter can do to fix a Glass Jaw. You can put them in there with guys that have horrible KO rates (like Khan) but they will continue to either get knocked down and embarrassed or completely knocked out cold.
Exactly. It blows my mind how people poo-poo the central importance of punch resistance in boxing, and attack those who recognize that if you don't have a solid chin, you are gonna get KTFO.
