Just thought I'd stick this up here for anyone who wants to watch it. I just came across it accidentally, coincidentally, while I was reading through this thread. Anyway... It's David Haye being "interviewed" on a British football (the normal version of football, not the handball Americans play) show. It can e a pretty funny and decent show at times (EDIT. ****! For some dopey reason, I just clicked on reply without coming anywhere near to finishing my post and without even attaching the vid! I'd not even finished writing the sentence I was on, as you can see by the way the above sentence just finished out of the blue and doesn't have a full stop/period. **** knows why I did that! That's really weird. Maybe I'm getting a bit "moon-touched"!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abQfDH0PlFI He has been on that show a few times. The first time he was on was the funniest but I cannae find that. He makes a decent gag at the end of the first video. The male interviewer was mentioning how he met a girl at a wedding and later found out that it would be a bad mistake to pursue a relationship with her as she had just started seeing one of the Klitch bro's. David tells him not to concern himself. He tells them that after being with Kitch, the girl will "never be the same again". For those that don't understand innuendo, he was suggesting that Klitch had a massive **** which will mean that sex with her would now be like waving a stick around in the Albert Hall.
I'm starting to go off Haye; he never shuts his ****ing mouth, even after all his empty promises about the fight and how he was going to rip the division apart. This is a clash of two glass jaws as far as I'm concerned.
Haye compared himself to Holyfield when he did that 'showdown' stunt with Wlad at the airport, didn't he?
The amount of fighters to talk ****, big themselves up and put down their opposition, say crazy things (about god if they are American or Muslim and seemingly about bonkers stuff if you are a Brit) and just generally promote the fight with sound bites and threats and then get KTFO are really far too many to count. It is far from uncommon (which, I suppose, makes it commonatsch) and would be forgotten about come Haye's next fight.
What the **** does that even mean?! It just makes no sense at all! There is no particular way an American or a Brit fights. There are plenty of different styles in those two countries. Just off the top of my head, let's think of 5 British boxers. Ricky Hatton Joe Calzag Dave Haye Prince Naz Lenny Lew Now, 5 contemporary (pretty much), most well known and top boxers. Now, what is there in these fighters styles that connects them? Even just two of them? What about 5 Americans? Michael Tyson Muhammed Ali Sug Ray Lenny Gez McClell Paulo Malignaginaginagio Anything to compare any of those 5? Again they are some of the most famous and some of the best of their time. The point is, if boxers of a certain nation do box in a particular way, then it is only in shades. There is only the slightest shadow to prove it. If any country does have a particular way of fighting, then it is Mexico. With all due respect to you, I'm sure you are a decent lad, knowledgable about the sport and intelligent but posts like that just really ****ing do my nut in! I hope you understand, mate
this fight's definately a shot in the arm for the heavyweight division. i cant even remember the last time i looked forward to a fight at heavy. but i cant wait for this one. haye by knockout.
Wow! Oscar Wilde really has nothing at all on you, does he? What a wit! What a sense of humour!!
IMO, it will take a smaller type HW to save the division. A match I'd like to see, that would be sorta fast paced for a HW fight would be Haye-Chagaev.
