:-(Ignorant post:hi: He talks the talk and walks the walk.Nobody can argue with me here-hes backed up everything hes said to date and impressively too
He's achieved his goal, which was to score a big-money fight with Wlad. But along the way, I think he strung fans along with his "I'm going to fight a top 10 heavyweight" line. I think he was actually looking for a relatively easy fight to look impressive in. That, along with his non-stop boasting and goading scored him the title fight - so he met his goal, and he was quite smart about how he went about it. He'll probably lose to Wlad, though and that will be rough to deal with (crying all the way to the bank to deposit his share of the loot!).
You're wrong. He didn't get this top 10 opponent,I'm as disappointed as anyone. He did an interview in July 2008,at the time he was looking for an opponent and Monte Barretts name was mentioned as a potential opponent. He replied by saying that Barrett is a journeyman and hes looking at bigger names than that.......Why would Haye say that and then go and fight him???Answer is he wanted a better opponent but for one reason or another it didn't materialise. You can't argue that Haye didn't want to fight a ranked guy
The truth of the matter is that whether the fight is exciting or not won't make any difference. Wladimir will always be an attraction to fight fans because of his size, skills, and perceived vulnerability. Not to mention the fact that throngs of people want to see him get knocked out. It still puts money in his pocket either way. Wlad has financial security and is pretty damn close to being the #1 heavyweight on the entire planet regardless of what anyone says. Plenty of people like him and appreciate him while plenty of people don't want him as the flagship division's champion. In the end his fights still sell out and everybody watches. The fan that says he can't stand watching Wladimir's fights because he's too robotic and boring is like the guy who calls into a radio show all the time to tell the host that he doesn't like him. Either way, he's going along for the ride when he could be doing something else.
Like him or hate him, there aren't any other heavyweights out there calling out the Klitschkos with such determination after only a couple of HW fights. Arreola and Povetkin have had far longer in the division and haven't managed it. Haye has done what it has taken to make this fight and seems willing and eager to take it despite it being the toughest fight out there. I don't particularly like how he has done it, but I give him a lot of credit for having the balls to take Wlad on at this stage of his career. No other HW fighter has stepped up to the plate in the way Haye has. And you shouldn't think it is pure arrogance; Haye knows he has a dodgy chin, but is willing to take the chance, unlike so many others.
What a maroon. I quoted your post and you tell me I answered the wrong question? And you think I look dumb? atsch After Taylor beats Froch we will have about 30 less people posting here daily. That amount will double after Wald beats Haye. Can't wait. Be a much better forum. :yep
The post you answered was answering an earlier post about telling stories not about Haye or anybody else.Hope this clears up all confusion:good I can't see Froch losing and I haven't seen too many step up to a lifetime ban bet certainly not on the Froch fight.Klitschko fans ruin this place more so than any other set of fans I mean just read some of their excuses and blind ignorance:-(
