There's no need to over-analyse. It's probably nothing particular or unusual about Haye himself.
Injuries happen. They happen to every athlete. Unfortunately Haye has had chronic ones that have lingered. The whole body is connected, so training with or around one chronic injury can lead to others when a athlete is forcing himself to train for competition.
    The result: "Broken body".

It's probably happened to thousands of athletes much sooner than it happened to David Haye. But, of course, you're unlikely to have ever heard of them.

True, but nobody is being specific here.

Prior to doing his achilles in, what was he doing that caused it? What other injuries has he had?

You can have brutal training camps. But if if you recover well and train smart, you can get by very well.

He "retired" the first time around due to a right shoulder injury.

And we know from experience that shoulders are like knees, once they are busted, they are busted for life. So since he has come back we know for a fact he is hampered by this.

Too many variables to be really say its defo one thing or the other. Age, training type, what he does to recover from training, diet. Some people are just more susceptible to injury also so it can be genetics.

Also most sportsmen/women are rarely carrying some sorta injury/pain most of the time anyway. I read an Alan Shearer interview where he said that he genuinely only played a handful of games completely pain and injury free, 90% of his games he played he had some sorta niggle or something carrying over.

The training that boxers go through is very intense therefore very unlikely that the dont carry some sorta niggle or reoccurring injury into fights

Agree. He said the best medics in world said he couldn’t continue to box because of shoulder then suddenly a few months later it was perfect better than ever ! Con job by Haye, he can’t even throw a straight right anymore. Now he’s got issues with Achilles etc he’s body is truly broken. People want to believe he is Haye of old But he’s not, he’s at the rob.

Yes but Alan Shearer never had an injury that stopped him kicking a ball straight we’re as Haye can’t throw a straight right hand.

Didn't he suffer an ACL injury that stopped him from playing for almost an entire season? Tendon tears / ruptures can just be one-offs, due to a single uncontrolled / over-powerful movement, rather than necessarily anything systemic.

He will know when it is over, he doesn't need anybody telling him it is...

What he needs is do to chill a little, have the odd bag of chips, get some grease in him...

Fcuk all this BS coach for this coach for that payroll BS...

He should save his money and just turn up and fight, it is not Ballet!

I could train this man to beat bellew in 3wks easily in my garden..

    basics...

Well he listened to medical experts advice until he was skint. Look don’t blame him but people who buy the Haye is a machine are deluded. He was trained for 11 weeks last time of a good trainer and got beat but the real reasom he didn’t win was because you didn’t train him ! I know I missed something
