I just watched it and honestly, this is a few pounds of steroids away from WWE. The guy Haye fought threw 1 punch in round 2, and what, 3 punches in round 1? He fell down from jabs and the ending flurry was ALL GLOVES yet he just sat on his ass.

How is this supposed to prepare Haye for Joshua and Wilder? :patsch

Haye is a master conman. He had 2 solid challenges in his career: Beating Mormeck (going life and death in the process). Losing to Wlad.

The rest is smoke and mirrors (Valuev, Ruiz, Chisora, Harrison) or outright bums like today.

Well the one before this fight at least sort of looked like the real deal. You could make an argument that Haye was too fast and got there before the opponent could do anything. But this one has no saving grace to it - its an obvious fake

Haye has come back purely for the cash.

He is deliberately avoiding serious challengers because he is looking to cash out by being knocked out by Joshua

Chisora was and still is Hayes best win at HW.

    That really says it all.

Haye is a con man at HW.

He only deserves cudos at CW

Good skills, speed and power, but he hasn't got a heavyweight chin. He realizes it and that is why he cancels fights, figths bums, and fights scared.

I fail to see what the appeal of David Haye is and why he has been such a big star over the years. The guy hasn't really done that much before the Klitschko fight yet was touted as Wlad's biggest challenge. Talked a lot of trash and couldn't back up absolutely anything. Pulled out of Fury fight twice and then disappeared from boxing only to return years later to fight extremely low level of opponents and have a meaningless fight with Briggs. It's blatantly obvious he's only in it to make some final paydays and dumb fans support him, cheering him, buying tickets for this ****.

To be honest I can see Joshua taking the same road ie. talking himself into a Wlad match, losing a boring decision then avoiding Fury and fight some cash grab fights.

Tyson Fury on the other hand achieved much more yet is totally ignored in Britain (other than when he talks about Jews, *******uals...)

I was a Haye fan around the time he bear Mormeck, and in the most, have defended Haye.

Last night was a total and utter farce. Haye didn't look in the best of shape and didn't fight as clinically as he should have against an opponent who capitulated all too easy.

Even the Briggs fight - he looked so stiff, but it was what you'd expect from a 44 year old. Haye would beat him in another pointless fight but even if he did I hope he gets shut out in the cold until he fights someone with a pulse, who will hit Haye back.

The card and the whole way it was presented, including Lethal Bizzle and his unexplicable song was a steaming pile of dog shit.

Haye has been in 4 real fights , lost 2 clearly, I also thought he didn't beat Valuev.

The one he did win was a against a good but very small Cruiser who got demolished at heavy.

Good luck to him , but he isn't a top fighter , never has been , never will.

you can't retire for a number of years and then expect to walk straight into big name fights
you have to work your way up rankings
