Haye's most likely route back?

Without sky pay per view I feel he will fight nobody and retire. It seems only a fight in America could temp Haye back now.
Haye has proved one thing in his time in boxing as well as outside the ring, he is a clear megalomaniac. There is no way he will fight anybody unless he is walking away with at least £1 million after tax, it would go completely against who he is. I think he would likely even turn down a 30% split with Wlad now if offered it.

 

Why would Povetkin want to fight Haye? Doesn't bring that much money any more and could probably bring a defeat and end to his already **** career.

 

I don't really mind either option to tell the truth, but like Roe said, why would Pov and Teddy want to take the risk? I think Arrola is a good comeback fight for him, but I'd squeeze in another fight before a Klit, probably against Pov who is, let's face it, crap these days.

Mr Haye has to win back the fans who became disillusioned with his last two performances, and the only way to do that is my sparking two top ten heavys before he can even think about Wlad or Vitali

 

The Arreola fight is the more likely right now.

 

This is all going to depend on whether Haye's bid toe is better or not. Does he want to risk causing permanent damage to it, or should he soldier on for his fans???

 

I don't think he's coming back.

He has money in the bank now, and yeah he's an egomaniac, no way is he fighting Areolla for 50/50 or something like that, unless he gets a big fight put in his lap he won't bother.

Haye isn't reallya "fighter" he's an athlete and a businessman

 

Hayes a bullshitter who disgraced the proud history of British boxing by bitching out in a heavyweight world title fight.

He behaved like a punk beforehand and then behaved like a punk in the ring.


If he cant beat the brothers then whats the point in going on? even the casuals will know hes a joker


The only way he can regain some level of credibility is by moving back down to cruiserweight and becoming the man in the division. that way he can show he wasnt big enough to hang with the superheavies.

Still - a man who served up Audley Harrison as a PPV oppenent in a 'world title' fight? He will probably fight some bum and claim the klits are avoiding a rematch

 

I'm a massive Haye fan and quite enjoyed his trash talking but to come back i think he needs to change his attitude. Be a bit quieter, more respectful. Go for three fights in a year against the Arreolas of this world before even going for Povetkin or one of the Klitschkos. He can't maintain his former brash attitude as the man he trashed for 3 years beat him soundly.

I dont think Haye will settle for anything less then a klitschko, shame because the aerrola fight would be good and could be properly hyped in the US 'Road to redemption'

An 80/20 split will not suit Haye one bit, he has no pull at any negotiating table at all with Vitali or Wlad...:|

 

Haye's been a bit of an embarrassment at HW really. Hopefully he just retires.
