i reckon haye will carry his power up to h/w,i just hope that he carries his speed too, because it is crucial and will be more important to success:good
I hope what everyone is saying is true, looking at the Barrett fight I'm personally not convinced yet. Hopefully irrefutable evidence will be provided against Valuev!
can i add that the shots that you dont see hurt a hell of a lot more, although a heavy may take a punch better he might not ride the punches as well as a cruiser
He has the speed to hit, but he doesn't punch harder than the Klitschko's or Tua. Also he is going to be vulnerable at heavyweight.
He punche very good, top 5 puncher in the division probably. Valuev will be a good test since the man has a iron chin.
I'm sure there are a more than a few heavy's who hit as hard as Haye but Haye has a fair bit more speed and snap than most of them.
He's got good power at heavyweight in my opinion but I don't think he hits hard enough to knock out Valuev. He may stun him if he can land a few punches flush.
David Haye has fawless technique, some heavyweights have terrible technique. David Haye knows how to put his full bodyweight behind punches, this coupled with speed and accuracy....i don't care who you are...........YOU GET HURT..! People often used to say, that Evander Holyfield did not have a destructive punch. But every fighter he fought, was hurt..AND was stunned. Even fighters known for their punches resistance....all gave in to Evander Holyfield's masked power... Like Ray Mercer..!
