So how is it; does Haye have to fight WBA mandatory because Wlad takes the Chisora fight or does unification over mandatory rule work regardless of Wlad's tune-up?

    Facts, please.

Haye could pay Chagaev money to step aside. Then he could wait for Wlad to fight Chisora without having to deal with his own WBA mandatory for a while.

Basically the WBA won't make Chagaev step aside for a unification if Wlad is fighting Chisora because:

    1. Wlad could lose to Chisora therefore it's no longer a unification match.
    2. Wlad could get injured and cancel the bout with Haye which would mean they would go a year without their champion fighting.

It's business, it's easy to say Wlad will beat Chisora but businesses and professional people can't work that way.

So Haye would have to fight Chagaev if Wlad is fighting Chisora but because of TV and SKY that is not possible until May, meaning that a July 2nd bout with Klitschko is impossible.

Yes, Haye's unwillingness to face Chagaev is the main reason behind this debacle. Chag would be the toughest challenge for Haye so far and the chance of blowing up his hyped-up account is significant. He might as well retire on top after his career defining fight with Harrison.

You mean like Haye fought Harrison in a voluntary pay day, risking a unification fight with the brothers? :deal:deal:deal

Wlad should be denied the same voluntary defense, but Haye could take it?

was that not a rather large sum of $? not sure but it seems like it was a payday rather than a "tune-up" or "keep busy fight"

Is it possible that perhaps there is no real reason for Haye's behavious, strategic reason anyway?

My impression is more and more that Haye is simply a diva, not necessarily scared to fight the Klitschkos or just greedy for money, but someone like those celebs who act out weird stuff just to be the center of attention.

I don't know who is right and who is wrong , who was afraid of the other
If Klitschko is to blame , or Haye
I only know that while boxing failed once more to have two great names fighting, MMA and Strikeforce organising an 8-man Grand Prix, with all the best fighters of the world (Fedor, Silvia , Werdum , Overeem etc.)
That's why MMA is gaining fans ...
