All it's going to take is for fans to know **** about boxing. If more fans knew **** about boxing then Haye would be universally respected.

Actually put in an effort vs Vitali, actually try to win instead of just trying to survive. and be humble if he loses, no excuses. Then Fight some other top heavies since he has only beaten one and it was a past it Valuev that he barely scraped a decision against. If he mixed it up with the rest of the division to prove who the best heavy not named Klitschko is then I'd give him respect. Haye vs Arreola, Povetkin, Mitchell, Chambers, Dimitrenko, Boystov, Solis, Chisora, Helenius, Fury

After he loses to Vitali, he should try clean out the division, with the exception of K2.

Chambers/Povetkin/Adamek/Fury/Solis/Chisora etc. Whoever is coming off a big win.

Yep. Reminds me of that OTHER joke:

    Q: "What's the difference between a pregnant woman & a lightbulb?"

A: You can unscrew a lightbulb.

Haye's reputation is not salvageable. Plus, he has no real talent, so who cares?

honestly, for me, haye needs to put it all on the line to beat vitali. that alone would redeem him in my eyes. I don't mean for him to go in there trying to bomb vitali out because that would be a dumb strategy, but he has to try and beat vitali. he cant simply backpedal, attempting to land one shot a round like he did against wlad. he actually has to try and utilize an effective strategy and put his punches together. that would redeem him in my opinion. it would show to me that he isn't mostly talk and fearful.

Agree with the first part. He would comfortably beat most on the list, not quite sure about a fit Solis and havent seen enough of Boystov to comment. Think Chisora would make him uncomfortable for a couple of rounds but then Haye would let loose...He needs to fight Vitali, and let his hands go, win or lose, even if he gets Ko'd at least he can go out with his heart on his sleave, and he does have the skills to do it, if he takes more risks.

To regain some respect after the disapointing fight with Wlad after all he promised is to beat Vitali. Tough task but certainly not impossible.

He begged the PED-feuled, heartless robot to come out of his devensive shell and engage in a real fight, but to no avail. There might as well have been a chess board placed between them.
