Hey, it may not be the fight we want to see but at least it's a step in the right direction as far as PBC and Top Rank working together. I feel this is a good fight at 140 for Crawford to get a taste of something outside of Top Rank and we can see if Molina still has it after the Provodnikov win (where the hell is Ruslan?). Arum says he will announce the fight when both contracts are signed in the next day or so. If the links are messed up just check scene and Youtube. John Molina Jr. " There is only one kingpin in my mind that can do a one-stop shop with, be a unified champion with the WBO,WBC and RING Magazine titles.
Post Broner I had no interest in Moline Jr fighting at a decent level but he got a good win against Provo so this fight wouldn't be so bad at all. As for Provo, I see some dude upload a video of him sparring a ****ing heavyweight recently lol
Hopefully this will be an action bout and Bob and Al can make more high profile fights in the future. Ruslan is a great action fighter that is one dimensional and that's not totally his fault. When he was winning HBO and ESPN was on his jock. Apparently being exciting is only great if you are winning. If Ruslan had of just kept fighting fringe contenders maybe he would still be on HBO getting hyped. He stepped up and loss and they trashed the man. I think he is still a beast. Sparring a heavyweight sounds right to me.
I'm sure it wouldn't be that hard to get out of fighting the all important TBD for a shot at one of the hottest stars in the sport.
Not terrible. Molina is coming off a big win at 140. If Arum/Haymon really are working together, maybe Crawford/Broner can be made next.
Not bad, and it seems one big issue with promoters is out of the way, one less reason why fighter a can't fight fighter b. So I'm good with this bout. War Crawford, war Molina!
Would be nice to have fighters fighting again and stop hiding behind their promoters, managers and networks.. too much business my enough sport anymore.
Decent fight as Molina Jr is a big dude but Bud is too slick, love to watch him switch up his stance mid rounds, and Bud should outbox the bigger gladiator IMO.
It's a decent fight. Molina just got done beating Provo, tested Lucas.... so why not? But like willie said it opens the doors for Top Rank and PBC to start working together, so I'll take fights like this to get the bigger fights like Crawford-Broner, Broner-Bradley, Bradley-Garcia, valdez vs Frampton, DeGale/Jack vs Ramirez...ect..
