    Who'a hating?

Like I said, I'm a huge boxing fan, and have watched and recorded every single PBC show they put out on every station, however not breaking a 1 rating on cbs, a massive free tv station is insane

The numbers have been steadily falling ever since their first show, that's not a good sign dude.

yeah they don't seem bad to me. Dirrell and Deale aren't huge names or anything in America. Plus this show only had enough time for the main event and part of the Rodriguez fight. Usually these cards ratings will increase as the show goes on, but this one was shorter and started with the main event.

I know that wouldn't effect the ratings too much, but it could be the difference between .85 rating and .9

I misunderstood you, as soon as I hit reply I was like yeah that's not what he meant. You're right though, but still this is their least viewed cbs card to date

It's not good either. This isn't Showtime or HBO, this is a major free network that every tv in America gets. TO not go over an overnight 1.0 rating is really really bad

to be fair, the cards themselves haven't been as good. Each show on NBC, CBS and Spike had their biggest names on their first show.

The problem is that the pbc is self proclaimed not star driven. They don't want to push fighters or build up names. The name of the game as far as pbc goes is that they give you high quality, competitive matches on a consistent basis.

However I think they will eventually hit a roadblock as boxing is a star driven sport. You need guys like Canelo and GGG if you want to flourish in today's boxing (if you're a promotional company that is)

true, but initially before the PBC builds its own brand, the star power of the fighters on there like Broner can help bring in the viewers now

Haymon has had a lot of fights this year, but I can't think of one that would be in my Top 5. Guerrero/Thurman was good but not close. Arreola/Harper was more of a clubfight than professional match. I'd rate Kovalev/Pascal, Alvarez/Kirkland, Salido/Martinez, and Matthysse/Provodnikov over anything they've produced this year.

its not all about how the fights turned out, because theres nothing you can do about that (May-Pac wasnt the most entertaining but you have to make that fight) its about making good fights. hes made good fights and ones that wasnt so advertised came out really good.

Broner-Porter on primtetime will do 3 mil easy!

The judging has been rather nonpartisan for the most part.

    Just in general

You would think that any point in time that at least a few million people are watching cbs or fox or any other major network regardless of what on
