Will have to let it play out to see. Seems like quite a bit of haters in here. People hating all over Haymon. His fighters seem happy. They definitely seem to get more money then they would without him. Bob Arum has thrown just as many bull**** fights matching name brand against no hoper, and many of you hypocrites give him a pass. It's laughable. Even after Mr. Edwards, trainer of up and coming Julian Williams stated on the record, that they get to fight whoever they want to fight, you all still hate. lol. Me personally, yea those match ups where fairly ****ty on some of those shows, but no more ****ty than bull**** Arum has fed us. And at least Haymon was saving his fighters for his own showcases. These mother ****ers will definitely be matched up now. You won't see him putting a bull**** match up in a primetime spot.

You always have to complain about something Floyd related.

Surprisingly, Al is putting out good fights and i look forward to them.

    Guerrero vs thurman

    Garcia vs Lamont

Broner vs Molina (Molina has a good chance)

Hopefully he builds these fighters on public network and puts out good fights like this. Get big boxing back on regular TV, boxing has a good chance here.

All toss up fights, can't wait.

Yeah, seriously, why complain about Guerrero/Thurman and Broner/Molina???

That smells like a fine card to me and I wouldn't call myself a fan of any of those guys, especially not Broner (who I would have picked against post-Matthysse-fight had Molina not shown extreme limitations against Soto).

Exactly, (op is duck_master), and the guy was always saying how haymon only has ****py fighters with no potential. Now all of a sudden he cares about their success???? Lol, guy is a troll I can't believe he invest so much time into hating Floyd.

Oscar De La hoya was and him retiring is the only reason Floyd is where he's at.

Floyd is where he's at is because he's good at ****ing people off. It sure aint his boxing style, so it's his mouth and then he continues to win because he's the best. Oscar made him a PPV star though when he agreed to fight Floyd. Floyd then done good business by fighting popular boxers such as Gatti, hatton etc. That done him the world of good.

Duva meant it as the boxers are up-and-coming potential future stars. Sort of like future MLBers that are playing in the AAA waiting for their time to shine.

Not everyone in MLB, or in the other 3 big sports NHL, NBA, NFL deserve to be on their respective teams. There are probably 100's of more important players in their minor league systems, but those minor leaguers still need time to mold their craft before making the big leagues.

YDKSAB. Mayweather fought Gatti at 140 BEFORE he fought De la Hoya. In fact, Mayweather was still on Top Rank for the Gatti figt, which was in Atlantic city. Dummy.

Arum and King are a pair of unsavoury lying kunts and I would have characterized Haymon similarly till now. The three of them (and others like them) have prevented us seeing a lot of fights that could and should have been made.

(Even Oscar is well along the kunt path since he got into promoting).

That said, I have to say I'm happy that Haymon is (apparently) facilitating the broadcasting of major fights on network tv.

I don't really see a downside to this.

The next progressive move would be to get the big names (Floyd, Pac, Ward, Rigondeaux, Wlad etc ) to fight four or five times a year.

Boxing has went through a process of pussfication that has seen Floyd fight once a year (with occasional vacations and retirements) and now he deigns to break sweat twice a year.

Pac fights twice a year. The rest of the prima donnas are little better and Andre doesn't fight at all !

What would SRR or Jake or Ali think of such a demanding schedule.

In his prime, Ali boxed in title fights nine times between May 1965 and Feb 1967, averaging a title fight every 80 days.

    So, good for Haymon !

    Network TV !

    Smaller purses !

    More fights !

    Bring it !

My views exactly. I find it baffling anyone is complaining about boxing on network TV.
