Haymon's fighters are to blame for their own poor matchmaking?

I wouldn't be surprised...Salka is pretty well known/well liked in the PA boxing scene, but he's not even ranked so idk how else the matchmakers would have heard of him unless he was requested by the Garcia's (PA boxers themselves).

I wanted to say I give Thurman a pass because he steps up his opposition each time out...but it was what, 8mo inactivity?

That's what kills me. Matthysse, Porter, and Thurman are usually matched appropriately, but this recent inactivity kick is killing their career momentum. And more importantly, it isn't entertaining me.

think al haymons good for his boxers, who in the short term make decent money for fighting cans, think Garcia got $1mil didn't he for the salka fight.

for boxing as a sport he isn't good. As stated in the LWW division, mattysee, broner, Garcia, Peterson have all fought nobodies this year, surely they could and should of fought each other.

this is the major problem i have with haymon , rather than putting on superfights which he is capable of doing for big money , he goes for the soft option of keeping his fighters apart so he does not lose an asset by one beating the other . he is happy to keep putting them in C list fights and making his money little and often . this may be good business sense but sooner or later all his fighters are going to get very frustrated because they want big fights and the chance to win titles , also the boxing fans are just being taken for a ride by this guy , we should be watching great fights and we are not and haymon is the reason why . all the people out there that think this guy is some kind of messiah , lets see what your opinion of him is after 2015 when you have just gone another year of watching bull**** fights .

one good thing for all you US boxing fans is this , eddie hearn looks to be moving into the american market very soon , now that guy knows how to put fights together and put on big events , your saviour is coming !!

i'm seriously thinking of dropping showtime.

they're just not putting up enough competitive fights.

Thurman was letting a shoulder injury recover. Thurman gives me the impression that he badly wants to fight regularly and fight the best but we'll have to see what happens with him this year...
