Does anyone else find Floyd Joy Sr. ****ing personable? I think he's the most charismatic guy in the Mayweather family.
A good episode, better than the first one. Watching Nazim put Roger in his place was great to see. Whilst the majority unfortunately keep an eye out for things the Mayweathers say (which are juvenile at best), I always turn the volume up when Nazim speaks. A nice edition to this 24/7 series, no doubt
He's the calm one with that smile on his face all day in that camp. I'm happy for him too, he seems like a genuinely nice guy, I wish him and Hatton would get back together if Hatton is to have another fight.
I wouldn't like to see that, it was such an awful clash of styles. Hatton would have done well with a trainer like Roach, who understands and appreciates his style of fighting. Roach would have maintained his aggressive approach, and just chipped off the rough edges and make him more effective. Mayweather on the other hand, tried to turn Hatton in to something he never was, a defensive fighter. But this wasn't his fault I suppose, as a 31 year old fighter with so many engraved habits, is difficult to work on and instill new tricks.
That was awsome, even Roger liked that one. Nazim is not a guy you wanna trash talk against, as he has more wit and wisdom in his little finger, than the whole Mayweather fam do put together
Roger Mayweather is hilarious. Watch on part 2 from 7.20 - 7.30 when he's listening to Naazim on the conference call. He looks straight ahead when he is thinking about what he's hearing and then looks back at the phone to hear the next sentence as though he has to be looking at the phone to hear it! Truly bizarre. And then: "They call this Chinatown. Everything around here got something to do with China. He-he. Got something to do with China if you're around here!"
I thought this was the better episode of the two. Naz has got a very good brain on him and its great to listen to him speak The line about people thinking Floyd is a talented coward is exactly how i see it. He has not stepped up to the plate and dug deep yet because he has not had to, but if pushed he will turn in a "dragon" I totally agree and expect Shane to bring out the best in Floyd, offense wise. Also Cash Flow has got major skills. We will have to keep our eyes out for him in the future as he is in the right place to become an amazing boxer.
Please tell me you didnt found that **** funny. I swear some people cream themselves everytime a Mayweather opens their mouth, like in this case the guy was just stating the obvious and some people act like its the funniest **** they've ever heard.
Nazim put those clowns in their ****in place. Where the **** did Ellerbe come from?? Funny he gets all butthurt when Nazim brings that up at the same time thats all Floyd talks about reguarding Shane
Good episode. Was hilarious how Nazim shut them down on the phone, and Ellerbe jumping to Floyd's defence was even funnier.
It's not funny because it's clever; it's funny because it's stupid. Roger seems to think he's sharing some wisdom with the viewer but, as you say, he's stating the obvious, and then he tops it with a tautology. And the whole time he is chuckling away as if he is being witty. That's why it's funny.
