Manny is not the same fighter he was the first 2 times he fought JMM. Manny via tko late rounds.

Neither is JMM, unfortunately. Many has improved no doubt, but his right hand was there for Morales 2 & 3 and the Marquez rematch. Adding a few moves here and there has made him more complete, but his rhythm and approach are still basically the same. He is the same fighter with a few new tricks.

you think he will do better than the last time? if not, dont you think boxing politics might prevent marquez from taking the decision if its so close again?

That's hardly the crux of the issue. It's Marquez who's no longer the same fighter, in that he's both past his prime and fighting almost 20 pounds above his best weight.

They're both basically the same weight.
Theres no more than a 5 pound difference.

Its just that this time he wont be cutting weight. Pacquiao could still make lightweight/Lightwelter easily if he wanted.

He's not just avoiding cutting weight, he's been gaining weight to become more durable and strong in order to compete with someone who has grown fully into the division. Being the same weight on fight night doesn't mean both fighters have the same quality of weight on their bodies. If Pac were to cut and go down to Jr. WW or Lightweight, he would have to adjust and reallocate his diet to compensate for the changes.

I like Marquez but I can't see him winning this. Way I see it, if he couldn't beat Pac at his prime weight, he ain't going to beat him at Pac's prime weight (I say prime weight, perhaps time would be a slightly better analagy). Either way, Marquez is unproven at this weight and I doubt he'll be bringing his speed and power up with him, at least, not like Pac has.

I predict a late TKO/wide UD win for Pac. Marquez will have has moments, landing a few flush counters etc but in the end I think he'll be shellshocked at the speed difference between them come fight night.

Well I wouldn't say it's that much of a cherry pick really. The first 2 fights have left a few questions unanswered and I think the 2 of them genuinely believe there is unfinished business. That coupled with the whole "Manny can do what Mayweather does but better," thing is another contributing reason as to why it's happenning. Wrong weight but no doubt they'll play the trump card in saying it was 2lb lighter, coming in on weight making it 4lb lighter.

There's better fights out there I'd like to have seen Pac take (aside from the May fight), but team Pac are probably just thinking that scoring a TKO means they've gone 1 better than May.

I'm gonna stay awake till 6am to watch it regardless.
