I definitely prefer 24/7, and I thought the episode was pretty good. Id prefer more training footage, but that applies to every episode. Mayweather is unbelievable, to train at that intensity, for 3 hours, day after day after day, and thats probably his second or third session, is something to be admired universally, like him or not.
ive actually said on numerous occasions that i dont want to see Mayweather beaten, because i want to be able to say i was around when the Worlds Best Boxer was around. but you know what, i would ****ing love for Cotto to knock that wanker out.
Floyd really is a boring ****. Got to say, this format has aged something chronic and needs an overhaul. Unless there's a ''story'' like there was with Pac and Marquez, or a set of characters like Hatton, Graham and Kayes, it's boring as ****. Fight Camp 360 all the way for me.
Aye.... Still, it did have one redeeming feature. Victor Ortiz was stuck on his arse and made to look a twat again. Can't knock the editor on that.
Thanks for posting. 2 of my fav fighters squaring off against each other but id love Cotto to win just because that would cement his own legacy. Edit - 24/7>>>Fightcamp360.
A very small one. His jab, his timing and his intelligence give him a better chance of doing well than most. But realistically, he's a left-hooker and that means Floyd will take his weapons away fairly early. Floyd has faded somewhat since dismantling Mosley (even then, I doubt he'd have eaten a shot like that when he beat Oscar unconvincingly). His legs are less mobile and he's a little slower to react. But he's so cool under pressure and Miguel lacks the handspeed to trouble Floyd for long. I'd say the first half will be somewhat entertaining, but the speed and variety of Floyd's offence coupled with his still masterful defence see him take the last six comprehensively. If he was so inclined, he could take Cotto out within six rounds, but I'd be surprised to see him do so. He's too careful not to upset the apple cart and give his opponent a chance.
Is there any fighter that could beat floyd then? surely there are some young fresh up and coming boxers in the division that could beat him. But as always they go under the rador and floyd would avoid.
