thats why connivence foods are so bad if you dont work out..... they are loaded with salt and heavy heavy SUGAR

Even things like bottled pasta sauce.. loaded with sugar. If you can make things from scratch in large batches and then freeze until you need them, that would really help

He trains so hard and makes weight so easily he can cheat his diet a little

plus it 24/7 its TV maybe hes just trying to get in Cottos head saying im ****ing around im eating crap and im still gonna kick your ass

maybe im wrong maybe Floyd eats plenty of junk food during camp and this isnt jsut for good TV

anyway hes unbeaten for a reason

Thanks a lot CHEF, appreciate it!

Hopefully it works out! It's a shame if the financial side of things prevent the fight from happening, it's definitely a fight the fans want.

By the way, do you genuinely believe Floyd eats that much junk food? I think a lot of it might be for the camera, I doubt an athlete at that level consumes that much junk food leading up to a fight.

I had a friend in one summer lose about 80 pounds all he did was cut out soda, dessert, portioned his meals and didnt get up for seconds, and before he went to bed went for a walk or a slow paced jog

basically even when your busy and cant get in a great work out you could squeeze in some push ups or sit ups or pull ups or some squats in between commercials or if your working on something and hit a wall take a 5 minute break and do some sort of exercise

it only takes a few dumb tricks and a few adjustments

That's easier said than done!

Thanks for the advice pal, I'll be making a few adjustments, 80 pounds is impressive!

This comparison to bodybuilders is really irrelevant... Boxers are top athletes who must perform, not model.

Besides, Coleman had a gut. That's HGH related, but anyway ;)

i used to cut weight to compete in sports and soda and ice cream are big killers, you cut them out and you will lose 5 or 10 pounds pretty quick depending on how much you have to lose to begin with

if your really disciplined you can get by on water and 1 percent or skim milk

you dont have to eat the strictest of diets, i mean i never counted calories or looked at labels

i mean a lot of diet stuff to me seems common sense if its junk dont eat it or dont eat a lot of it

though i dont know much about diets to put on muscle and get big

Any caloric drinks outside of shakes are garbage. Total waste of calories unless you're bulking with milk.

How much weight were you cutting?

When I have time and I'm active, I find I can eat what I want (within reason) and be able to lose weight and get into great shape. It's just a horribly busy time right now for me, so I can't train regularly, you're right in that cutting a few things out like junk food can probably make a huge difference. Did you compete in combat sports?

Diabetes CAN be genetic - but there are two types and the other type is caused by eating wrong and being lazy. Not saying Floyd will get diabetes, just clearing up the facts.

ok you saw him eating a big mac and fries on the video and just assumed he eats like that every day. It was probably this one time and specially for camera (why would they show him eating a burger and fries?).

Mostly true, but type II isn't always self-inflicted. Just the vast majority of the time ;) It bothers me that it even shares a name with type I at all.

I agree to an extent. Sometimes I have to have juice every now and then after a hard workout if I'm feeling very weak. Skim milk is good also.

1% milk! I hate the taste of the skim milk..it's like water!
