I think you're simultaneously both overstating Chavez's entertainment value and understating HBO's appearance of being complicit in the controversial, if not outright corrupt, on-goings that tend to surround JCC.

Although I admit perhaps the latter will actually have the opposite effect and keep people tuned in, despite their dismay.

And I think you ignored the rest of my post because you can't disagree with it. Im not getting into a debate about Junior, I don't like him. For whatever reason though he pulls in numbers while Wlad doesn't. Now there are those here and from the scene who would say its because he's an eastern European fighter. I call bull**** on that.....its because he's not exciting to watch.

Most boring fight of the year. And I highly doubt ANYONE was applauding Wlads tactics whether they be Russian or any other nationality. Boring and cheating are the same in any language.

It's pretty obvious JAB doesn't like Wladimir, I think we all know why.

He is the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world. He may be boring as hell most of the time but I, as a boxing fan, want to see the fight on tv. If only for the historical importance of the title. That being said I'll probably pass on the Leipia fight, two five year olds fighting in the backyard will be more interesting than that fight.

He was clinching far too much in his last fight. At least there were some knockdowns though.

But while being harshly critical of Wladimir, you say Ward is exciting to watch. What does that reveal about you? A double standard based on what?

I'm sure Wlad with any american bum in USA would do better numbers than Ward or Hopkins and Wlad vs Arreolla , Wlad vs Wilder would do better numbers than ward vs hopkins.
