These guys don't seem to like boxing. Only Roy Jones should keep his job. They are so negative. Showtime is blowing them away.

Jim Lampley and Roy Jones are okay, but Max Kellerman is awful, extremely biased.

He's been at his worst today, maybe his herpes (you can see it on his mouth) is acting up.

I feel like they've been negative for good reason today though. This is in stark contrast to Merchant who would immediately start crying if anyone was the least bit defensively responsible.

Yeah, Kellerman is - hands down - the worst commentator I've ever seen in 35 years of following boxing.

What do you expect from someone who was never a participant in the sport, or never spent any time as boxing journalist, before being plucked from obscurity and put on ESPN in the late 90s?

The sooner HBO replaces this unqualified twerp with somebody decent, the better. Raiding Showtime for Al Bernstein or Steve Farhood would be an excellent idea!

Farhood comes off like a know it all in the fights he commentates. which in my opinion makes it seem like he knows less. and most of the time he just offers criticism for the fighters.

but my opinion can change fight to fight with him, just in general.

HBO analysis is terrible. HBO belittle's fighters that beat the HBO house fighter. They call phantom punches they do not land. All around terrible. The only decent member of the team is usually the person with actual boxing experience and if this person does not push the HBO agenda they are soon relieved of their duties. See Lenox Lewis....

I don't blame them tonight. You had that disgraceful wlad whatever the ****that was, then you have tre in there with a certified bum that can't hurt him and he want to throw a couple jabs at him and follow him around the ring. Tonight was terrible.

Angel Garcia put it best. They do call phantom punches or refuse to call the other fighters punches.
