To be honest I don't care as much as it sounds but he is an entitled *****. And as a staunch working class man I hate favouritism and nepotism in the rich.

Very sad for me although I haven't really been passionate about boxing for years. A fight on HBO used to be an event. I've often remarked that the recent fights were on the level of an ESPN fight from years ago. Often below it really. HBO was class and the best of the best. That hasn't been true for awhile.

I loved the team of Barry Tompkins, Merchant, & Ray. I like Lampley but that team was my favorite. My golden era would be from 1985 - maybe 2000. The Tyson years were a highlight. Fewer fights by far but bigger ones.

    I've got some great memories.

"We are a storytelling platform," said HBO Sports. "The future will see unscripted series, long-form documentary films, reality programming, sports journalism, event specials and more unique standout content from HBO Sports."

A direct quote, whatever that means.......
I believe they are out of the combat sports arena for good

Steward was one of the best announcers they had. Gil Clancy was by far the best for me. I loved Ray although I know many don't care for him. I've never cared for Jones but he's not awful. Foreman was usually really bad.

I'll always miss the polish of Hbo boxing from the 80's & 90's. Cream of the crop for me.

Yeah, but look at it this way, you won't have to listen to Kellerman for a while anyway. He undoubtedly will be picked up somewhere but at least for now... and Letterman will finally be put out to pasture.

I disagree. I Watch TV, so not "no one", LOL. I tried DAZN, ESPN+, cancelled both. My computers are old and slow (like me LOL), and keep buffering 10 Times 1 round. Useless.
I like Watching Fights on traditional TV. SHO, ESPN, FOX are fine with me!

True. I hope I don't, myself! I'll be Watching at home so it's all good. :)
Why do you think that? I had no problem with SRL commenting. He was on NBC not long ago.

    Agreed 100%.
I agree. Well Said. Music, though? DId something change?

Honestly if you're not American, and this doesn't interest you, why are you commenting here? Regardless, HBO is primarily a movie channel, they do have some comedy and other shows that I don't Know much about, but Boxing was 1 of The Few, if not only Sports, they carried live. Similar to SHOWTIME, which still has Boxing. They show a lot of soft core porn Late Nights (how do I Know that? :D ).
I hear that a bunch. Why didn't you like big George?

Maybe if HBO hadn't blown their wad on paying Fraud Mayweather to showcase his track abilities, they could have saved money and spent it on real fighters. Would have done wonders to their budget.
