    quillen buzzed McEwan on the hook that led to the slip. Most round was dominated by Quillen though.

    McEwan is coming forward, throwing his right jab out and backing Quillin to the ropes. McEwan ducks and throws his arms up to try and pull KC into an exchange. Quillin catches, holds, and tosses him away. Quillin landed a good uppercut and McEwan went down - looked like a knockdown but ruled a slip? :think

    10-9 Quillin, it seemed (My attention is still mainly on Bute-Johnson)

    MceWan keeps his head straight up after punching. I have never seen Quilling before but if he has decent speed and power he will put him out for that.

    From what i have seen i am not impressed though for the hype this kid has.

    So what's the verdict on Kirkland ? China chin and getting KTFO quickly tonight or is he gonna bounce back and go ''prime Kermit'' on Angulo ? :lol:

    Quillin lands a right and McEwan ties him up, spinning them both around. Quillin is landing the right behind the jab and whipping out high hooks and getting held and mauled to the ropes. McEwan works the body, drum-rolling. Quillin backs up and jabs. Overhand by Quillin out of a brief tie-up. McEwan keeps smothering Quillin against the ropes and trying to work the body. GOOD right hand by Quillin. Another. Quillin tries an uppercut but is smothered back against the ropes. McEwan only landing his body taps up close, almost nothing on the outside.

    Quillen starting to catch McEwan coming in. Hurt him badly off the ropes with a right. McEwan was hurt badly.

    Good jabs by Quillin. McEwan charges in through a right hand that bounces off his head, and ties up to rough Quillin up against the ropes. McEwan is throwing lead lefts too high, as Quillin keeps ducking under them and jabbing the body.

    Quillin dominating again loading up on his counters and mostly missing but McEwan isn't landing anything of significance and is getting hurt outside and on the inside.
