    I'm normally in the "Max isn't that bad" camp, because the occasional Maxidote is a nice break between "BANG! BANG!"s and "This is exactly how I knew my life would go".

    But holy ****, when it's just him and Bob "the Sandman" Popa, he truly takes on a whole new dimension of ******ation.

    This may seem strange with both being undefeated and holding world titles, but Gamboa and Lopez are both turning out to be disappointments to me.

    The things that you'd hope they'd have spackled over during their prospect days never got spackled over - and now it's too late for them as they're too deep in their careers and set in their habits.

    Don't get me wrong - if and when they meet up I expect it to be a very entertaining fight, and they should both be forces in the weight range for a while and produce a few really exciting moments...it's just becoming apparent that neither is living up to their billed potential and it's unlikely that either will be making any major adjustments to get back on course to do so.

    Im still undecided on Gamboa Vs JuanMa both are underachievers but the common opponent they have is Mtagwa and Gaboa smashed him. Ill make my pick after the Marquez fight.

    As I said in that RBR thread - the round with the KO makes the tedious rounds that set up the KO all worthwhile. :yep

    Knowing that it was coming but not knowing which round it would be is what made it not only watchable but somewhat dramatic.

    JuanMa isn't an underachiever. He has utilised his talent, the same can't be said for Gamboa, who is by far the more gifted of the two.

    Gamboa doesn't appear as powerful as Juan Ma. If they trade you KNOW who you should have your money on who will come out standing? LOPE$. on the FLOOR asleep? Gamboa..

    Damn straight, both are the same guys we saw over the last few years.. they haven't really fixed their problems.. they just are fighting better guys.

    Gamboa still has a chance to fix his issues I think, JuanMa doesn't.

    I forgot that Salido before his fight vs Gamboa had 10 loss with 5 of those by ko. How the hell Gamboa couldn't stop him? I was right about bad performance by Gamboa.

    Manny Pacquiao should be easy to knock out too, right? He also has some KO losses early in his career when he was a teenager. :roll:

    He's your typical Boxrec head. He was commenting on David Lopez recently, and I'm convinced he never even seen him fight before.

    Salido wasn't a teenager when he was ko though i think lol. It was early in his career though. Gamboa got more pop then the other fighters that beat Salido so i'm disappointed in him in which again imo this was a bad performance.
