He holds wins over Rogers Mtagwa (one of only a few to stop him, no less), Robert Guerrero (although it was changed to a NC only due to a failed drug test, but was still every bit as much an unofficial victory as Toney-Ruiz), and Cristobal Cruz (who, just to educate you in advance before you expose yourself further by calling him a bum for having twelve losses, is a very good fighter).

    D-level? Please.

Despite my avatar, I am 0% Mexican.

What, you think we don't have any Mexicans? The dishes won't wash themselves.

If Lopez faces any of the top guys (Martinez, Pirog, Pavlik, Golovkin) he will probably lose. I never said otherwise. It doesn't change the fact that you are an absolute ****ing bluffing boxrec'r.

Both started their careers in Garden City, Kansas and fought at the same gym as amateurs, Bad Boyz Boxing.

This wasn't that bad of a performance from Gamboa. He was trying out a different style and he was in with a good, experienced guy with a good chin. Just because he didn't get the KO doesn't mean it was a bad fight. I think he showboated way too much and lost focus at times, but besides that it was a good performance.

The one thing that did bother me was how Gamboa lied about hitting Salido when he was down. Did anyone else catch this? He said "I had a five punch combination in mind and the fifth one unfortunately hit him on the way down."

That was a bull**** LIE. If you look at the replay Gamboa hits him with a few punches, Salido is obviously down, and then Gamboa runs up (at least two steps) and hits him when he's sitting down. Cortez did the right thing by taking 2 points away (although it would have been a DQ if Salido couldn't continue), but as a fan of Gamboa that pissed me off and I lost some respect for him. That and his showboating really turned me off to his personality but I still like watching him fight.

I haven't seen much of Golovkin fights so i can't predict but Lopez will easily lose to either Pavlik, Pirog, Martinez. Yes even Pavlik right now would ko Lopez easily.

I will have to check on that and get back to you. Their beef happened after they became pros tho. It is personal.

Hasn't stopped you before, don't wig out on us know. Go check him out on boxrec, he's pretty much the GOAT. 19 HAVE TRIED, 19 HAVE FAILED. All goats lead to Gennady Golovkin.

And i don't like the way Gamboa holding. Gamboa has the ability to be a great superstar but if he continue with his showbating, his career will end the way it happen to Vargas.
