    Darchinyan is clapping Del Valle with curveball lefts to the head and uppercuts to the body. The right is held out, not so much a jab as a steadying ram to set up the power shots with the left. Del Valle is getting some desperate counters in, catching Darchinyan flush on the face with right hands and left hooks, but is getting the worst of every exchange and backed up, forced to hold frequently despite his instincts to trade.

    Darchinyan is using lots of erratic upper body movement, bouncing to and fro with his head fixed in a static position while trying to lean away from Del Valle's counters and wind up his left uppercut. Darchinyan sprays his power at Del Valle and gets countered and clinched as Del Valle recoils from some shots and shakes off others, flopping into Darchinyan where he can to stall for time.
