Pavlik would clearly beat Edwin. We saw what Kelly did to Rosinsky who took Edwin to the limit and I think beat him.

Man does anyone else feel bad for the first two prospects on the card? Prospect number 1 gets a veteran with almost twice as many fights and wins over solid opponents. Prospect number two gets a multi-division former p4p top 10 power punching killer. And ****ing edwin Rodgriguez gets a guy with no wins over anyone who showed up with a mouth piece he bought from walmart.

He said it's a business and he would get it in if he wants to too. :blood

I think Pavlik touches him up, but if he can take shots well enough he might be able able to decision him or blast him out (Pavlik's not some defense master either). Pascal is crude as ****, but he can punch. He's dangerous, but Rodriguez is good enough that he should beat Pascal. Who knows, I wouldn't be surprised if the kid gets laid out and listed as a guy that got exposed.

How is beating someone who shouldn't be in the ring with you a good win.

Edwin ain't ****. I have no idea why he gets to headline cards on HBO. HBO should feed him to Carl Froch as an incentive to sign with them for the kesslar rematch (after he's done with bute of course).

Maybe Froch can get Edwin as a opponent for his comeback.

I missed that. Why did kellerman mention pascal? He's in a different division.

For the record. If some guy who looks like he has two left feet and the slowest ****ing hands I've imaginable could touch Edwin up on a regular basis Pascal would ****ing murder this guy. At LHW it would not last 5 rounds.

He did say that, but was sort of trailing off non-committally and clearly didn't want to dwell on the topic of himself against JP.

The conversation was about whether he'd be willing to move up to LHW if opportunities presented themselves, since he rehydrated so much tonight.

    Pavlik is a light heavyweight.

Ah, yeah, so he is. I just figured he was campaigning at light heavy now having last fought Rosinsky (who's usually a 175 lber)

Right. He's actually even still a pretty big guy for the 168 lb wt class. As for moving up I guess rodriguez wasn't for that?

He shrugged it off, said he'd let his promoter whisper in his ear.

 No. Vic hasn't had a knockout in over three years. He has never knocked out anyone of even minor pro note above 115 pounds. He's come close but he didn't even finish Mamba. Yes, he can bang, and yes he's been up against top quality guys for the most part but literally nothing should make you regard a puncher like that if he hasn't stopped anyone in over three years and eight fights. He hits big, and he's been hitting some granite jaws, but even then, 8 straight fights, including some guys you're outclassing completely, landing hard leather on all of them and no knockouts does not equal top ten p4p punching killer. That is no more for Vic. And, with all that he landed, what did he do to Orlandito? Did he even knock him down?

He was that top puncher at 112 and 115, in his late twenties/early thirties, for certain, but not now. He was coming off of two UD losses, in his late thirties, hadn't won a real world title at the weight or the weight before it. There's absolutely nothing to feel sorry for Orlandito about. He got kept out by a champion who has sunk down to a gatekeeper status. He's got a lot to learn, but there was certainly nothing unfair about it. He was meant to win that fight.
