Either way I think you missed the point of my post. The point was that prospect 1 and 2 got fighters with more experience than themselves, who posed a real challenge. Edwin Rodriguez the headliner got a no hoper with a puffed up record.

I was impressed by Del Valle. He showed balls and kept fighting the whole fight.

Also props to Roy jones for not jumping on the Max Kellerman "oh the humanity" bandwagon.

No, I didn't miss the point of your post, but rather chose one part of of your post, which I'd highlighted to reflect that, and addressed that one part, because it sounded like you just regurgitated HBO rah-rah commentator speak with no nuance, context or perspective. No, I get that Rodriguez headlined and got served his on a platter and the other two were billed less than with harder tests. But, that's not what I was addressing, again, as my highlighting was meant to display.

Why did HBO force us to sit through La Bum Rodriguez and some stiff as their main event? That was bull****. The other guy looked like pure unadulterated crap. Seriously, if they are taking guys off the street to headline their cards, they can call me next.

So, let me get this straight. You've got to be feeling for Orlandito being against someone for formerly being something, which he currently isn't? That really was what you meant? Because I thought you meant former champion, but put the word out of sequence, as opposed to former p4p punching killer, which would have made more sense with regard to the case your were making. worst HBO card ever. Buncha B level guys and old past prime Darch vs a nobody. This wouldn't have even been a great FNF card.
