    Nice left jabs by Alvarado stepping around Rios. Alvarado is boxing well in the first minute, turning Rios on his jab. They circle together more closely and trade right hands. Rios' are getting through hard. Alvarado is pushed back. Now Alvarado responds with his own chopping right hand attack, and drops a few to the body to force Rios back. Left hook by Rios. They step around each other whipping out right hands in a crossfire. Left upper-hook by Rios stepping in. Combination by Alvarado, missing. Rios jabs up at him. Right hand to the body by Rios, moving Alvarado back. Big burst of body punches by Alvarado. Uppercuts by Rios leaning in. Uppercut to the face by Alvarado.

    Alvarado opens up with a jab right away. Two good lefts to the body for Rios. Left hook from Alvarado. Alvarado sticking the jab, Rios jumps in with shots to the body. Alvarado moving alot, but effectively. Alvarado throws 4 unanswered punches, then Rios responds with a right. BIG left hands from Rios, Alvarado is hurt, GOOD combination from Alvardo now! Alvardo composed and popping the jab. Inside work from both guys now. Alvarado throws, but missing. BIG exchange at the end of the round, both guys got in their shots. Close round.

    10-9 Rios (the big left hooks did it for me)
