    Round 2

The two combatants lean together and trade uppercuts to the body and smacks to the face. Alvarado is also mixing in side-wound right hands that crash into the side of Rios' head forcefully but don't slow him down. Rios is really concentrating on the body work, putting together several uppercuts and piston shots at a time and then doubling his hook up to the face of Alvarado when the arms drop. Alvarado is taking small steps back and to the left and jabbing Rios in the face from mid-range. Rios is stepping in with some huge left hooks to the chin even as Alvarado whips him back with wide globe-trotting rights.

    10-9 Alvarado

    20-18 Alvarado

Mike starting off with te jab, but Rios closes the distance and digs to the body and head. It's a dogight again with bother fighters land big punches. These guys are just landing big bombs on each other. Alvarado lands a big uppercut. I don't think this goes the distance. It's a war of attrition at this point. Mike using the jab. Big shots by both at the end. Close round but I give it to mikey.

    20-18 Alvarado.

Seems like Alvarado's been moved around more by the smaller Rios than the other way around. Really impressive how strong Rios is.

I wouldn't say Alvarado was hurt at the end of the 2nd, but Rios certainly landed some highlight reel left hooks on his jaw. They lifted Alvarado almost off his feet, but he took the punches insanely well and didn't betray much sign of detriment from them. Both are taking monster punches insanely well.
