Mike going effectively to the body early and boxing well at the beginning. Good combos by Mikey. Rios trying to close the distance. Alvarado is well in control of this round. Alvarado is outpunching Brandon on the outside and inside. Clear Alvarado round.

    39-37 Alvarado.l

I think Alvarado is doing a little bit better than Rios.

God damn good fight. Alvarado won it imo, he not only brawls, but sticks the jab and sets up his shots way more than Rios. Don't get me wrong, Rios is being effective too.

    39-37 Alvarado

    39-37

Probably Alavarado's best round, imo. His right hand was landing more or less at will. Rios still there with him, though

Strange fight...Alvarado's landing the better shots but Rios seems to be absorbing the punishment better than is Alvarado. If it comes down to chins, Rios seems to have the advantage.

Rounds to Alvarado...but rounds may not matter down the stretch.
