I was expecting a jabbing contest with landed punches and the occasional power shot to the body.

I appear to be watching stictly come dancing.

 

donaire throwing away too many power shots. nishioka actually stumbled him with a jab. daonaire just needs to throw more straight punches and dont give in to the crowds demands.

I can't see how professional boxers who are actually champions come into big fights and just try to survive. It's pathetic, really

Wow. This is awesome. It's like a continuation of Rios-Alvarado. They can't possibly keep this up!

 

I'm not sure of Nishi's strategy here. I can understand not wanting to get countered but I don't understand not counter-punching yourself.

I think everyone including folks like yourself should continue to count out and underestimate Rios. It not only seems to hep him persevere, but makes moments like this all the more sweeter
